Leadership Development Events

Leadership Development Events (LDEs) focus on building communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. Members can compete in events like public speaking, conducting meetings, and interviewing. These opportunities help students grow as leaders and prepare for success in school, careers, and life.

Career Development Events

Career Development Events (CDEs) are competitions that help members build real-world career skills in a variety of agriculture-related areas. Students can compete individually or as a team while learning topics like livestock, floriculture, soils, and more. CDEs are a great way to gain confidence, knowledge, and leadership through hands-on experience.

Livestock Shows

Livestock shows are an exciting way for FFA members to gain hands-on experience while raising and exhibiting animals such as swine, poultry, cattle, goats, sheep, and rabbits. Students learn responsibility, time management, and animal care through daily feeding, training, grooming, and keeping their projects healthy. Showing also helps members build confidence and sportsmanship as they compete, set goals, and represent our chapter with pride.

Other Opportunities

Members can participate in speeches, science fair projects, community service opportunities, chapter meetings, fundraising events, and fun activities throughout the year.
